Baba 

In Benin, 68-year-old Baba (not his real name) was always sick and unable to do any work. As a retired civil servant, he went back to his village to farm but unfortunately, all kinds of sicknesses hampered his progress until 2005 when he tested positive for HIV and started receiving HIV medication from University of Benin Teaching Hospital, a center supported by IHVN. “I have now gone back to my farm and there is nothing my mates can do that I will not do, says Baba, adding, “I feel happy and my children are all happy also.” Baba’s CD4 count when he stated medication was 288 but now it is 899.
