ACTION support is helping many living with HIV

All across the treatment and care sites supported by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria (IHVN), more and more people living with HIV/AIDS are getting better as their CD4 counts are increasing and viral loads tumbling. Many of them are showing remarkable improvement, according to Dr. Benedicta Udoh, a physician in the Department of Family Medicine, University of Calabar. It warms the heart that many of them, who are adhering to their HIV medications, no longer visit clinics complaining of certain opportunistic infections.
