INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANTS (BENIN, FCT, JOS, KANO AND LAGOS)

Our Institute is a leading provider of treatment, care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS with headquarters in Abuja and Regional offices in Benin, Jos, Kano and the Federal Capital Territory. We require competent and result-oriented candidates to fill the position above.

 

Information Technology Assistant


Under the direction of the Head, IT Unit of the Institute, the IT Assistant will carry out the following tasks in accordance with the Institute’s policies and procedures.


Duties/Responsibility
The successful candidate will be required to

  • Manage the IT infrastructure in a site

  • Maintain IT peripherals like computers, laptops and printers

  • Manage a windows server 2008 infrastructure

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time


Experience/Education

  • Minimum of B.Sc. in computer science or related discipline with 2 years of post-NYSC relevant work experience

  • Preference will be given to candidates with Certifications in A+, CCNA and MCITP


Required Skills
The successful candidate will be required to

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good interpersonal skills: must function well in a team setting.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Training facilitation skills is a plus.
